ABOUT IAC
We are developing an all new multi-mission/multi-purpose light utility aircraft.
The i-GT airframe design is optimised for latest developments in engine technology (recently certified and under development) which are perfectly suited to the point to point, utility mission profile currently in use throughout the developing regions.
Our Power-plant solutions reduce noise and carbon emissions significantly and posts groundbreaking efficiency in terms of fuel consumption and maintenance costs.
Our aircraft will bring a highly disruptive package to market which will change the way people and goods are transported in developing regions of the World.
We are also conducting R&D on new transportation solutions in developed regions where land based assets such as road and rail are under sever pressure from congestion.
Our aircraft is perfectly matched to humanitarian aid and missionary services in the most remote regions of the World where minimal specialist support and infrastructure is available. Our aircraft will offer the most economical solution in terms of time and money to many commuters in many of these regions.
We have included multiple first time innovations into the airframe which facilitate seamless multi purpose missions in tough environments.
Our aircraft is the only product able to compete on a 'cost per mile traveled' when compared to a mid sized family motor vehicle - or, in certain instances, bus or rail alternatives.
Our small but specialised team has been working on this exciting project since 2008. The i-GT design has now grown and matured to become a unique airborne multi purpose tool. We used feedback received directly from our market surveys out to operators working in Humanitarian Aid, Mission, Mining, Maritime Patrol, Military, Cargo and Passenger etc, all who have contributed to making the i-GT a safe and relevant platform which offers groundbreaking economy and utility - we're bringing solid disruption to the light utility aircraft market and General Aviation together with all related suppliers will benefit.
The team is lead by Brendan Irwin who has accumulated many thousands of hours designing aircraft parts and assemblies within the 3D environment and has first hand aircraft construction experience - specialising in 4130 welding and traditional 2024 sheet metal work.
Notable other members are Janine Irwin who brings excellent operational and financial experience to the team.
Kevin Irwin, structures engineer and draftsman with >50 years experience.
Judith Milne - previously MD Bombardier Europe and has received multiple awards for her contributions to European Aerospace.
